What made you become a personal trainer? I originally wanted to be a nurse, but after a few years of seeing people suffer and how sick they get, I decided that I wanted to help people before they ever get to that point. Exercise can be a true preventative to so many illnesses. As my mother always says, "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure!"

What's your favorite exercise? Literally any exercise that gets the entire body at the same time. I call them, one and dones! Exercises like burpees, planks, and squat presses!

What's your least favorite exercise? I super hate up/down planks (also called walking planks)! Ugh! I do them, but I hate them.

What is your favorite part about being a personal trainer? It's most rewarding when you see that light bulb turn on for your client. The moment they realize that they can absolutely do this and maintain this new lifestyle they are building for themselves. It takes guts to walk through the gym doors, but hard work to keep coming back.

What is your favorite demographic to train and why? I mostly train women and specifically postpartum women that are getting back to fitness after the baby. But I love training teenagers and young adults too. They are the ones who are choosing to make exercise a big part of their lives at a younger age with the hope that they make this an integral part of their lives forever.

What are your personal fitness training specialties? Exercise routines that don't waste any time. Only got 30 minutes? I'll make every second count. I also specialize in getting those little baby muscles that help prevent future injuries. And for momma's, we work a lot on our pelvic floor and core exercises together.

What are your favorite hobbies? Trying new exercises and workouts on YouTube, binge-watching good shows, playing with my son outside at a park, traveling to new places, eating yummy food, and getting massages!
