Ryann's specialties include pregnancy & postpartum, strength training, flexibility/stretching, and nutrition coaching

What made you become a personal trainer? After years in education and behavioral health, I decided it was time to follow my passion for health and wellness, and make a career change. So much of our fitness and nutrition habits are behavior-based so I love to bring my knowledge of human behavior to my clients to help them build long lasting habits.

What's your favorite exercise? Deadlifts, Bar Squats, Bench Press

What's your least favorite exercise? Burpees, Turkish Getups, and Running (thanks to my bad knees).

What is your favorite part about being a personal trainer? Watching people build confidence in themselves, and being part of their journey to prioritize their health through fitness and nutrition.

What is your favorite demographic to train and why? Women through all phases of it is probably in the car she didn't get lost. She's just in the car. Oh, you're the babysitter life, because our bodies are built so differently and are constantly changing; Men and women who don’t feel time is on their side to ‘fit in the workout’ - I’ll help you prioritize yourself, because I get what it feels like when you don’t think you have the time.

What are your personal fitness training specialties? Strength training and flexibility/stretching.

What are your favorite hobbies?  Cooking for family and friends; traveling, hiking, skiing, rafting, and camping with my husband, kids, and dogs; Yoga and reading a good book when I have some me time.
